Irish dance has been Lauren's life for over 30 years.
Now it’s time for Lauren to share her knowledge & experience through her educational tutorials & uplifting choreography. This is her life’s work in one place and accessible for Irish dancers at any time when you become an LSA Member.
At The Lauren Smyth Academy she wants to do more than teach you, she wants to TRANSFORM you!
How much does it cost and what can I expect from my LSA membership?
The LSA Membership costs £35 on a monthly basis. LSA Membership includes:
- Exclusive access to a wide range of educational tutorials centred around helping you improve your Irish dance technique
- Exclusive access to a wide range of performance choreography centred around building your confidence & helping you grow as a performer.
- Fresh new content uploaded monthly to help you on your Irish dancing journey available for you to complete at any time.
- Be part of the worldwide growing community that Lauren has created. Everyone here wants to fulfil their potential as dancers & performers.
Will there be new content every month?
Yes! Each month I’ll be working hard in the background to bring you fresh, educational content catered to helping you on your Irish dancing journey.
Is LSA a dance school?
LSA is not a dance school & is not affiliated with any Irish Dance organisation. LSA is an online platform for dancers to access a wealth of professional Irish dance coaching and guidance anytime.
What type of classes are available at LSA?
LSA offers a wide range of classes in each section from Simply Slip Jig, Passionate about Performance, Back to Basics and The Festival Experience. Each section offers structured drills & exercise classes which progress and build nicely to different levels of choreography. LSA also offers 'Fast' classes, 'Spotlight' classes, sessions in using arms in performance, along with practice tips and more!
Is LSA suitable for any age & ability?
LSA is suitable for all age groups & caters for abilities ranging from advanced beginner to intermediate & advanced level. However, if you are under 18, you must seek permission from a parent or guardian to sign up using their details, as we do not solicit data from children under 18 years of age.
Is LSA suitable for someone who is new to Irish dance?
Not at the moment, but watch out for exciting things coming for beginners in the near future.
Are there live classes included in my membership?
LSA members will receive a 33% discount for any standard live classes that Lauren holds. Keep an eye in the Members Dashboard for a link to book into Lauren's live classes. Please note that the LSA Members discount isn't valid in conjunction with any special offers or events unless stated.
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, LSA will offer private one to one lessons. 60 mins dedicated to you & your specific needs.
Can the choreography taught at LSA be used outside of the academy?
Yes! Lauren is always very happy to let dancers & teachers use her choreography around the world for performances. Lauren would greatly appreciate it if you could let her know before doing so & credit her if you post it online.
